436 programming

Post by vk2gel » Fri Dec 13, 2019 9:12 am

Hi all, I have an NXDN upgraded 436 and would like to monitor Sydney council https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=7429

I have Sentinel so can I use it to program the 436 with the above database directly?

I tried manual programming but the 436 asks for an LCN?

Any help appreciated, thanks G

Bare in mind radio reference is very out of date , and this system was last updated in 2015 , so maybe missing some new frequencies, or the system has totally changed

Legend, thanks RA.

With the help of the RR forum, also found that I needed to make sure the system is active, not avoided, quick key enabled, and in ID search mode.

What an adventure, G
