   Built a 2m 1/2 wave rooftop (20 ft. up) and am confused about what I
   should use to connect it to my Uniden BC 100. have lots of TV cable
   but is thwre something better?

   On the right hand side of the uniden 396 scanners webpages there is a link that lets you seach by postcodes for frequencys,hope this helps . Bob

    flat
